Aviané™ - Squirrel-Blocking Spinning Perch For Small Songbirds

Squirrel Resistant Spinning Perch

This feeder uses a weight-activated spinning perch that discourages heavier mammals while allowing lightweight birds to feed comfortably. When a heavier visitor lands, the perch gently rotates to deter access without harm, helping keep seed available for songbirds. An extended seed tube and snug top cap further limit chewing or digging from above or the sides, so seeds stay where birds can reach them. The result is peaceful viewing and more time enjoying birds instead of refilling after intruders.

Durable Weather Resistant Construction

Built from powder-coated metal and impact-resistant polycarbonate, this feeder is designed to withstand seasonal exposure without fading or corroding. Reinforced joints and a rust-resistant finish help the unit maintain its shape and appearance through rain, sun, and temperature changes. The materials also resist gnawing and general wear, so the feeder keeps performing with minimal upkeep. Lightweight enough to reposition, it balances durability with practical handling for routine care.

Multi Bird Feeding And Easy Maintenance

Four feeding ports and a continuous circular perch allow multiple small birds to dine at once, creating lively backyard activity ideal for birdwatching. The reservoir holds up to 5 lbs of seed so you refill less often, and the design helps reduce spilled shells and scattered feed around the base. A lift-off lid and wide-mouth opening make cleaning and refilling straightforward, and removable parts rinse easily for regular maintenance. The hanging mount keeps the feeder accessible for birds while making placement flexible for your yard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How Does The Squirrel-Resistant Mechanism Work?
The feeder relies on a weight-activated spinning perch and a snug top cap that together prevent heavier animals from accessing the seed. When a heavier animal lands, the perch rotates to discourage feeding while lighter birds remain steady and can feed normally.

Q: What Types Of Seed Can I Use?
This feeder accepts black oil sunflower, safflower, and common mixed seed blends suitable for small songbirds. Choosing high-energy seeds helps attract a wider variety of backyard visitors.

Q: How Many Birds Can Feed At Once?
The design includes four feeding ports and a continuous circular perch, allowing several small birds to feed simultaneously without crowding. That makes it ideal for attracting finches, chickadees, sparrows, and similar species.

Q: How Do I Clean And Refill The Feeder?
The lid lifts off for easy refilling and the wide-mouth reservoir allows quick access for washing. Removable components rinse with mild soap and water and should be dried before reassembly for best results.
